The month of November witnesses a lunar eclipse. This is an event that happens only last in years. It is a spectacular sight to watch as the moon turns dark and red. In addition, these ares are known as a 'blood moon.' The name comes from the effect of the moon's blood-like appearance as it passes through the shadow of the earth. Watching an eclipse is a religious expression; some people spend their whole lifetime waiting for one.

The last lunar eclipse of the year will take place on , November 25 October.  During the event, the moon will appear as a dark red color in the sky. This is due to the moon passing through the shadow of the earth. After that, the moon will turn black and appear to be almost torn apart by the shadow's force. People living in cities will have a better view because of all the lights in the sky. However, watching from a country side may be even more dramatic as fewer lights crowd out the view.
